Hoosier Homes +
The Hoosier Homes Plus program is a powerful new initiative designed to support housing-focused talent recruitment and retention initiatives in Northeast Indiana. Backed by a $2 million allocation from the Northeast Indiana Strategic Development Commission (SDC), the program provides enhanced down payment assistance (DPA) and interest rate buy-down opportunities, making homeownership more accessible and affordable for families across the region's 11 counties.
Through this initiative, qualifying homebuyers can now access a full 5% in down payment assistance a level previously out of reach for many due to market constraints. In addition to the DPA, builders and employers have the opportunity to customize homebuyer programs that further reduce the financial burden of homeownership.
