  • What are the income limits for the program?
    This down payment assistance program supports a wide range of homebuyers from all lifestyles. Once you're connected with a lender through the Club 720 mobile app, your lender will be able to confirm the income limits based on where you're looking to buy then confirm your eligibility.
  • Is the income limit based on the individual or household?
    The income limit requirement is based on the borrower, regardless of household size.
  • How can I access homebuyer education?
    Homebuyer education is required for all first-time homebuyers, defined as a borrower who has not owned a home in the last three years from the closing date. First-time homebuyers must attend a nationally accredited virtual or in-person homebuyer education course through a HUD, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac approved housing counseling agency. The homebuyer's receipt of a homebuyer education counseling Certificate of Completion is a condition for the loan closing.   • Do I have to use a specific lender?
    When you check your eligibility for the program, Club 720 will connect you with a trusted lender who is authorized to offer the program. If you'd like to continue working with your own lender, the lender must follow these steps to become authorized to use the program.
  • Can I add my spouse to the loan?
    You do have the option to add your spouse; however, the income limit will be based on your combined income. Only one of you will need to submit a form on Club 720.
  • How do I check my eligibility for the program?
    To check your eligibility for the program, please follow these steps: Download the free Club 720 mobile app and register Set your first goal to 'Buy a Home' Fill out the form Submit the form Get connected with our trusted lending partners!
  • What if I'm not eligible?
    No worries! Club720 offers grants and affordable loan products aside from this program with different qualifications. No matter your credit score, income or current situation, we encourage you to seek available programs on the app. Additionally, Club 720 offers free support and educational resources to get you ready for the home buying journey. Find the 'Community' tab on the app to learn more.
  • Will starting the eligibility process affect my credit score?
    Checking your eligibility for this program through Club 720 does NOT affect your credit score. In fact, Club 720 requires a self-reported credit score in order to get connected with a lender. This means that you report your own score on the app.
  • What happens if I'm already pre-approved with a lender?
    Great question! If you're already working with a lender and would like to use this program, you have two options: Your lender will need to be or become authorized to offer the program, or You will need to switch lenders and begin working with one of ours. Depending on your lending journey, the process of getting connected with one of our lending partners can be quick and easy.
  • How long does it take to get connected with a lender?
    Applicants will typically be connected with a trusted lending partner within two (2) business days.
  • Is Club 720 really free?
    YES! There is no charge (at any point). Visit www.club720.org to learn more about what it has to offer.
  • What's the difference between eligible and approved?
    Club 720 may deem your eligibility for this program. This means that you have satisfied the program's initial qualifications based on the information you shared on the app. Club 720, however, does not approve you for the down payment assistance grant. Your lender will confirm your eligibility and follow the necessary next steps to get you pre-approved for a mortgage loan where you can then utilize the grant.
